What will happen if the same VPP token is used in two different MDM servers?

If the same VPP token is used in two different MDM servers,

1. The actual license count may vary as the MDM providers may constantly fight over the VPP licenses.
2. The devices may not be able to verify the licenses assignments assigned to them.

Therefore, it is not recommended to use a single VPP token for multiple MDM servers. VPP token should exist only in one MDM server at a single time.

If you are moving from one MDM to another, make sure to revoke your app licenses in the current MDM before switching to the new MDM server. The ideal way is to remove the assignments from the current MDM and then remove the VPP token. At this point, you can upload your VPP token to the Hexnode MDM server.
