Hexnode UEM on-premises: End-of-sale and End-of-life
Hexnode announces end-of-sale (EOS) and end-of-life (EOL) for the on-premises edition of Hexnode UEM. Customers are notified about the EOL via email. The last day to order the product is May 31, 2020. The on-premises edition went live in late 2013. After nearly seven years, Hexnode UEM on-premises reaches end-of-life on May 31, 2021, ceasing general support and maintenance. All on-premises customers should migrate to the cloud edition to avail product upgrades and continued support.

Would I have to pay more for the cloud edition?
Both cloud and on-premises annual editions are offered under the same pricing plans. So, you can avail the existing plan on cloud at no additional charges.
Is there an annual plan for the cloud edition?
Yes, Hexnode UEM cloud edition can be availed on both monthly and annual subscription.
Can I migrate my devices from on-premises to the cloud?
No, devices can no longer communicate with the new MDM server unless you re-enroll them. However, you can continue use your existing Apple Business Manager, Android Zero-Touch or Samsung Knox accounts for enrollment.
Will I lose any existing features while migrating to the cloud?
No, since cloud and on-premises annual editions are offered under the same pricing plans, you can continue to use all the existing features available under the current plan even after migration.
