Execute uninstall application remote action from Hexnode

The document describes how to execute uninstall application remote action on devices enrolled in Hexnode. Removing unnecessary applications from devices can help save hard drive space, increase speed, enhance security and improve the overall performance. With Hexnode UEM’s Uninstall Application remote action, you can easily remove applications from one or more devices. The Uninstall Application is a one-time action removing the app from the device remotely. But, the user can choose to install those apps anytime later.

Uninstall Application

To uninstall an application,

1. Login to your Hexnode UEM portal.
2. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
3. Click on the device from which you wish to remove the application from. This takes you to the Device Summary page.
4. Click on Actions > Uninstall Application.
5. From the Uninstall Application window, choose the app to be removed from the selected devices. You may select one or more apps. Click on Done.
6. A prompt for confirmation appears, click Confirm to confirm your action.

To uninstall application in bulk,

1. Login to your Hexnode UEM portal.
2. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
3. Identify and choose the devices from which you want to uninstall the app.
4. From the Uninstall Applications window, select the device platform such as iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, visionOS and choose the apps to be removed from the selected devices.
5. Click on Done.
6. A prompt for confirmation appears, click Confirm to confirm your action.
