Enforcing OS updates

You can update Linux devices by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to Hexnode UEM.
  2. Navigate to Manage > Devices and check the Linux device to update.
  3. Click on Actions drop-down and select Update OS.
  4. A window will open with options to configure the installation of updates. From the options shown, choose any one or more according to your preference,
    • Install all updates: Upgrades the entire OS of the device, including the security and critical updates.
    • Install all security updates: Selecting this option installs security update patches on the device.
    • Install all critical updates: Selecting this option installs critical update patches that address any critical software vulnerabilities on the device.
