How to remove apps from Apple TV?

Sometimes you might have to remove apps from devices if they are no longer essential for your organizational use cases. With Hexnode UEM, you can initiate commands from the UEM console to remotely remove apps from your Apple TV.

Remove apps from a single device

1. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
2. Click on the device from which the app is to be removed. This takes you to the Device Summary page.
3. Click on the Applications tab. Here, you will see the complete list of applications deployed on that specific device.
4. Click on the gear icon corresponding to the app to be removed and select Uninstall App.

Once clicked, a command is sent immediately to the device to start uninstalling the app, and it will be removed successfully.

Remove apps from the device using Uninstall Application action

1. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
2. Click on the device from which the app is to be removed. This takes you to the Device Summary page.
3. Click on Actions > Uninstall Application.
4. Find the app to be removed from the app inventory and click on Done.
