Exciting news for Hexnode users co-managing Windows devices! Traditionally, tracking a device’s location required configuring a Location Tracking policy and then using the Scan Device Location action. However, configurations cannot be deployed as policies for co-managed Windows devices.
To address this limitation, Hexnode UEM is introducing a new Enable Location Tracking action designed specifically for co-managed Windows devices. This feature, coming soon, will allow you to enable location tracking directly from Actions. Once enabled, you can easily locate devices using the Scan Device Location action.
That’s not all—Hexnode will also include a Disable Location Tracking action, giving you the flexibility to turn off location tracking when it’s no longer needed. This ensures complete control over your device location management.
