We were trying to enroll our device using apple configurator. We created blueprint and tried to associate with it but shows the error “the configuration for your iPad could not be downloaded” “cancelled”. How to fix this?

Hi @Ron-Mathew, this could have been caused by some network issue. You may try again by removing the Wi-Fi profile from the Blueprint and restore your device before re-attempting the steps.

@Ron-Mathew, in that case, please do check if the device is added on any other MDM server and remove the device from the MDM server if it’s added. You can quickly check that with ABM.

  1. Go to Apple Business Manager and sign in to your account.
  2. Click Devices. Search and select the required devices from the list. You can filter devices based on their source, order numbers, device types, etc.
  3. Next, click on the database icon.
  4. Select the Unassign option to unassign devices from the MDM server.

If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team.

Cheers!
