Has anybody been able to successfully change the Home Page in Safari on a Shared iPad? Can you please share your method?

Thank you!

Based on my observations, I don’t seem to find Apple providing any sort of options to manage Homepage (start page) of Safari browser on iOS/iPads/Shared iPads.

I think this configuration is applicable to macOS devices and macOS devices alone. I found a configuration profile for macOS in Hexnode repository:

Maybe Apple might roll this out for iOS/iPads in the near future.

Thank you for your response? Do you know if setting the Home Page is possible for Chrome on Shared iPad?

Thank you for actively participating in Hexnode Connect. I understand your requirement to set a home page for the Google Chrome browser on Shared iPads. However, I regret to inform you that iOS/iPadOS devices currently do not support configuring home pages in the Google Chrome browser. You can only set your homepage when you use Chrome on a computer or Android device. Click here
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out, we’re always happy to assist.

Hey man, the difference I noticed between Safari on a Shared iPad and a normally enrolled iPad is the absence of the “Add to Home Screen” option when trying to share a webpage using the arrow at the top right corner next to the webpage URL.

Has anyone else observed this? Could it be related to this issue? I came across this information on an Apple support page, where it was mentioned as a possible solution. Check it out:

Thank you all for taking the time to respond!

I was not able to accomplish setting the Home Page with either Safari or Chrome, but it worked fine in Edge, and for my purposes this should work just fine – for anybody who has the same issue.
