Reset an iOS device enrolled in Hexnode via Apple ConfiguratorSolved

I would like to know best way to do the following: an employee leaves and i get their phone back. “The phone is supervised through Apple Configurator2 using the Hexnode blueprint and managed through hexnode mdm. how can i best reset the phone to factory settings? Then the phone can be ready for a new employee.

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

I see that the devices are enrolled using Apple Configurator. Could you please tell me if the devices are added to DEP via Apple Configurator?

Thanks for the reply.

You can reset the device from the device settings, but this will remove the supervision on devices.
So, you can disenroll the device from the portal and perform the wipe using Apple Configurator. Just prepare the device without applying the blueprint, and the device will be supervised and also get wiped. It will now be a new device that can be enrolled into the portal.
