Remote View stuck at ‘Connecting to device’Solved

Whenever I try using the Remote View option, the device stays stuck on “Connecting to device…” and doesn’t connect Any fixes?

Hey @mees  This could be because you haven’t granted remote viewing permission to the Hexnode remote assist app, or it might be because the device is unreachable.

@aitana you are right. The issue could be because the permission may not have been granted on the device end by the user when the Remote View Session is initiated, or it could be due to a device connection issue. To resolve this, check your firewall settings and ensure the required port (443) is open to initiate the session on your Windows. Also, ensure the device is powered on and accessible, with the user having the necessary permissions to grant access. Finally, verify that the user has permitted the Hexnode Remote Assist app to enable remote viewing. This should help. Reach out to us if you have any further queries!
