Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
You will have to disenroll a device and make sure the device entry is removed from the portal to free the license used by the device. Now the device can be re-enrolled without making the same device consume two licenses.
To disenroll a device:
In some cases, such as when the device is not online, the disenroll action may not be completed and the device will still be listed under Manage-> Devices. In such cases, click on the device name and you will be directed to the Device Summary page. Click on the Actions button and choose the option ‘Mark as disenrolled’. The device entry will now be removed.
