hey all, is it possible to disable screenshots in specific apps on iOS like Outlook, without affecting other apps or the entire device? We need a way to prevent screen captures in certain apps while keeping the functionality intact elsewhere. Any suggestions?
Prevent screen capturing on iOS devicesSolved

Hi @Tommy Unfortunately, this isn’t possible on iOS as Apple doesn’t provide apps with the ability to control system-level features like screenshot functionality. Unlike Android, iOS doesn’t allow apps to manage or restrict such actions.
Thanks @Bram for the clarification! I appreciate it.
Can screenshots be blocked on BYO devices as well?? Or does a company need to provide organizationally owned devices for that level of control?
@remi yes, screenshots can be blocked on BYOD devices.
Is there any way to block screenshots entirely on an iOS device without blocking it in specific apps?
Hi @Finn Thanks for reaching out!
Yes, you can restrict the screen capture entirely on iOS devices via Hexnode UEM by navigating to Policies > iOS > Restrictions > Basic > Allow Device Functionality. Then, disable the Screen capture option to prevent users from taking screenshots or recording the screen.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need clarifications.
