Hi, How can I prevent employees from disabling GPS on fully managed Android devices used for field operations, ensuring continuous location tracking for compliance and safety purposes? Alternatively, if directly locking the GPS isn’t possible, how can access to device settings be restricted to prevent users from turning off location services?

Hello @eduardo, thank you reaching out to us. To ensure GPS remains enabled on managed Android devices and users cannot disable it, activate the Force GPS to fetch location option under Policies > Android > Restrictions > Basic > Allow Location Settings. Note that this option is available only if the GPS setting in the same section is also enabled.
Alternatively, if GPS is already enabled on the devices, you can disable the Modify settings option under Policies > Android > Restrictions > Advanced > Allow Settings to prevent users from changing any device settings. This not only blocks users from disabling GPS but also restricts access to all other device settings.
