On pushing password clearance action it says that the user hasn’t activated the password tokenSolved

What does this mean: User hasn’t activated the password token in the Hexnode for Work app. Activate password token to clear the device password. I had pushed clear passcode action from portal to Samsung device.

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

For the password clearance action to work, the user will have to activate the password token in the Hexnode for Work app once. You are receiving the above message appears as this token is not activated in the app.

Will this clear the device password, if I have enrolled my device in profile owner mode?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

If the device is enrolled in Android Enterprise as Profile Owner, the password clearance action will clear only the password of the Work Profile.
