Hi Sebastien,

Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved from the MDM portal. Android requires persistent notifications to be displayed for services running in the background.  Since Android Oreo, if a service does not have a persistent notification, it wouldn’t be allowed to run in the background. However, you can manually turn off notifications for the MDM app from your device. Please be warned that you wouldn’t receive notifications from Hexnode thereafter.

Please subtitute word (TRACKING) by another one because users feels spied.

i receive a lot of call because of that, users or not power users! the only word they see is TRACKING!

We have updated the content shown for the data notification message. It will no longer confuse your users with the term “tracking”. Please do update your Hexnode MDM app version to 11.7.2 and Hexnode for Work app version to 7.7.2 and let us know how that goes.
