My mac lost internet connection after updating to SequoiaSolved

I am always skeptical about updating my Mac to the newer versions. I have this habit where I first observe others updating their Macs to the newer versions, so I can check if there are any issues arising. If there is nothing or if there is some bug fix update released, then I would usually jump right to that. This time too, I didn’t update my Mac until I saw the Sequoia 15.1 update where Apple intelligence was rolled out for all the M series chips. Mine’s an M1 MacBook Air, I was excited and I installed the update. Here starts the problem, from that moment forward I couldn’t just access the internet in my Safari browser. I had to turn off the firewall for that. It could be an issue with the firewall, so I tried to change the Safari settings in the firewall to ‘allow incoming connections’ but it keeps on changing to ‘block incoming connections’ automatically as if it just hates to allow anything. Has anybody else faced this issue? All suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I have encountered this issue as well. Could you please try removing one of the network filters and check if that resolves the problem? You can find these filters in the Network Settings. I suggest starting with the ones that have a yellow status.
