macOS Screen access notification for apps using Screen share/recording featureSolved

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to figure out how to remove the persistent notification that pops up when I share my screen or use screen recording software on macOS. This has been causing some disruptions during presentations, especially when my team uses the Teams app for screen sharing.

Microsoft Teams screen access alert in macOS.

I’ve already disabled the Teams notifications, but that hasn’t resolved the issue. Additionally, all the necessary screen access permissions have been granted. If anyone has encountered this or knows a fix, I’d greatly appreciate your help!

I’ve been experiencing the same issue after updating to macOS Sequoia 15.2. The notification keeps popping up during screen sharing on apps like Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, and others. It’s become quite disruptive, and I haven’t found a solution yet.

Hi @Bram , @Penelope . This issue has been reported frequently recently, but there’s good news! In the latest macOS update (15.3.1), Apple seems to have addressed and fixed this problem. Once you update your devices to this version, the notification should no longer appear during screen sharing or recording, resolving the disruption.
