We are happy to announce that we’ll be adding macOS DNS proxy to our device management toolkit. Now, some of you might have already noticed a proxy section under macOS Wi-Fi settings. But, we assure you; they are not the same.
The proxy server settings under Wi-Fi act as the intermediary between the devices and the internet, protecting devices from potential external threats. On the other hand, the DNS proxy server acts as the gateway between the client and DNS resolver and helps configure applications that support DNS proxy network.
Our developers are working diligently to get this feature out there at the earliest. So stay tuned for the official release. In the meantime, don’t forget to keep an eye out for what else is cooking here at Hexnode UEM.
Cheers!
