We’re introducing an additional configuration to the Wi-Fi policy for Android devices – MAC randomization.
A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to each device connected to a Wi-Fi network. As the name suggests, MAC randomization allows IT admins to randomize the MAC address of managed devices according to one of the following options:
- Persistent
- Non-persistent
- Auto
- Disable
Stay tuned for more details on how each of these options functions in the Release Notes section!
Please note that this feature is only on Android 12 and above devices.
