It’s a form of Out of Band Management (OOBM) that allows remote server management, even if the server is powered off or the OS is unresponsive. For those unfamiliar with OOBM, it uses a separate network from the production network to provide a secure way to access and control devices remotely. The key advantage? IT admins can have full control over the hardware without needing to be physically present.
