Typically, VPP app installations don’t prompt for a password on devices. However, during our attempt to install a VPP app, it asked to sign in with the Apple ID to proceed with the app installation. Can you explain what might be causing this issue?

The VPP app we tried to install is ‘Chase Bank: Bank & Invest app’ and it doesn’t require a subscription.
On testing, it looks like the issue is specific to the app you mentioned. We recommend contacting the app’s support team for further assistance.
