I’m using a Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 in kiosk mode with an enterprise application. The app requires login via an NFC badge. However, NFC stops working when the device goes into sleep mode. Also, when switching between apps, the NFC badge reader fails to work with the intended app. Could anyone provide a solution?

Hello @Luke  You could try checking the kiosk mode settings on the device. Sometimes, kiosk mode configurations restrict certain functionalities or background processes that NFC requires.

Hi @Luke  Thanks for reaching out. I understand the inconvenience you’re facing with the Android kiosk mode. We have a solution for this query. Please follow the below steps while configuring the Android kiosk policy:

Add an NFC tool app and the enterprise app you want to include to the kiosk by navigating to Policies > Kiosk Lockdown > Multi App Kiosk. Next, add the Settings app as a background app by navigating to Policies > Kiosk Lockdown > Background Apps as it may be necessary for the proper functioning of the apps added in the kiosk. Please let us know if this resolves your issue or if you need further assistance.

Best regards,
