Hey kinda new here. Have been seeing people mentioning issues related to password changes in azure AD on other sites. Have any of you faced similar issues?

If you’ve got any recommendations or suggestions that’d be great. Cheers!

From personal experience, I’d suggest you ensure Self-service password reset (SSPR) is set up for ur users and is monitored correctly. Once you get that right, chances of facing any of the common issues are lesser. Go through this documentation for some best practices of password management. Also, it would be a good idea to enable multi-factor verification for users either by changing user states or using conditional access policies.

Yaa like @v said first of all go through the deployment guide for setting up Azure AD Self-service password reset. This should help in keeping your deployment process smooth.

If u find ur users reporting issues like ‘contact your administrator’ and ‘we couldn’t verify your account’ when they try to reset password like our users had, ask them to check out this doc to find some common problems and its solutions. It’ll cover some common cases.

Hi. We are having trouble with our azure AD users reporting they are not able to grant permissions to Hexnode azure directory services. Are we missing smthng here?

Hello @rae Welcome aboard to Hexnode Connect. Hope our community has helped you with the best practices you were looking for.

@sm Login with your admin account to the Azure Active Directory portal and follow the navigational aid:

Azure Active Directory > Enterprise applications > Consent and permissions

Check if ‘User consent settings’ is set to ‘Do not allow user consent’. If that is the case, users without admin privileges cannot grant the required permissions to Hexnode Azure Directory Services during device enrollment. To overcome this, ensure ‘User consent settings’ is set to either ‘Allow user consent for apps’ or ‘Allow user consent for apps from verified publishers, for selected permissions.’

For further documentation, refer to Azure AD Integration with Hexnode.

Hope this resolves your query. Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach us!

Cheers!

We’ve set the permission to allow user consent to apps and it’s all good now.
