Hello,

Is there a way to bypass the constant prompting of Apple id everytime app download or apps update are manually executed on iphone? I have talked to hexnode support and they said this is by design and limitation set by Apple.

The iphone we have are registered as user owned devices So they are registered as having workprofile.

Or maybe I need to request this feature to Hexnode to add this bypass feature in the admin centre?

Hello Erik, we appreciate your reaching out to us.

Your iPhone asks for Apple ID during app installation and app updates as part of Apple’s security policies. Therefore, currently Hexnode UEM does not have provision to bypass this feature.

However, the user can disable this option manually from the device. On the iOS device, open Settings > Face ID & Passcode. Enter the device passcode and disable Face ID for iTunes & App Store. Now, go to Settings and click on your account name. Select Media & Purchases > Password Settings. Here you can disable the Require Password toggle button.

If there are any features that you need, please do let us know. We look forward to hearing more suggestions and queries from you. Have a great day!

Cheers!
