Hi all, I’ve been using a custom configuration profile to allowlist a bunch of applications in all the user accounts on the device. However, after applying the policy, I switched to another standard account, and the device started showing endless popups from Safari Support saying it’s blocked. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hey, why are you relying on a custom configuration profile for allowlisting? Why not just use the macOS allowlist policy?
The allowlist policy only applies to UEM-managed standard accounts, and we needed a solution to allowlist apps across all accounts.
Hmm, this could be an issue on Apple’s end, maybe?
Hi there, we ran into a similar problem. We resolved the Safari popup issue by allowlisting a couple of folders in the custom config profile. Try adding these:
/System/Cryptexes/App/System/Library/CoreServices
/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/App/System/Library/CoreServices
Give it a shot!
Thank you so much! I’ve added those folders, and now the Safari popups have stopped. I did need to restart after applying the policy for it to take effect, though.
