Hey everyone! My employees are wasting time on non-work apps. Is there any method to restrict their data availability to access these apps? All are Android!

I think it is possible but I’m not sure how. Would be a huge help to me as well!
Hey Preston, thank you for reaching out to us!
Yup, it is possible to restrict data usage on your Android devices through Hexnode UEM. Just head on to Policies> New Policy> Android> Network Data Usage Management and choose App-wise Restrictions. Select the apps you want to restrict and choose the type of Network Restriction you wish to apply.
You can limit the data used on a daily or monthly basis and restrict and notify user and/or admin when data usage exceeds a fixed limit. You can also send a notification to either the user and/or admin when data usage exceeds the limit.
Hope this clears your query.
Cheers!

Is there any method to restrict data usage on the entire device?
Hey Callum, thank you for reaching out to us!
Yes, Hexnode UEM allows you to set data restrictions on your Android devices and track the data usage as well. Go to Policies > New Policy > Android > Network Data Usage Management and select Data Usage Restrictions. Select the type of Network Restriction you want to apply and configure the policy as mentioned earlier. You can also reset the data tracking at a specific time of the day on a monthly basis. Do have a look at How to manage mobile data usage on Android Devices to know more.
Hope this clears your query.
Cheers!
