Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can integrate Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Active Directory with Hexnode. The integration will help you to control the AD from one single point, sync users and user groups, ease the enrollment process and policy assignment. Thus, it enhances the security and scalability.
For Azure Active Directory integration, please navigate to Enroll-> All Enrollments-> Enterprise-> Azure AD. Enter the Directory (Tenant) ID and click Configure. Sign in with your Azure portal credentials and click Accept. Azure AD will now be configured and can be synced with Hexnode MDM. Please use the help doc on Azure AD integration to know more.
For Microsoft Active Directory Integration:
- Please navigate to Admin-> Active Directory. You will see the steps for integration.
- Download and install the AD Agent on your server. Also, download the configuration file.
- Launch the Hexnode MDM_AD Setup Wizard. Continue the Setup and install the Hexnode MDM_AD. Click on Finish to exit setup.
- On Hexnode console, click on Check agent status to know whether the agent is connected. Click on ‘Configure AD’ to configure the AD settings.
Check out the help doc on Microsoft AD integration to know more.
Hope this helps!

What are the admin roles to integrate Azure with the Hexnode portal?
Hey Billie,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Azure AD provides you with a set of roles that can be assigned to the administrators to provide them with only the required permissions. You need to be either a Global Administrator or an Application Administrator to configure an Azure AD account inside the Hexnode portal.
Hope this clears your query.
Cheers!
