Erase all content and settings not working on ios 15.0.1Solved

Need help! I’ve been trying to restrict users from erasing supervised devices. The thing is that the restriction ‘erase all content and settings’ was working fine until the ios15 update. After this update this restriction is no longer functioning and users can erase the devices even if it is applied. Anyone else seen this issue?

It’s a confirmed Apple bug that is currently under study.

P.S. dont use ios 15 in production yet, stick to previous versions!

Just tested and replicated the same issue with ios 15.0.1 and 15.0.2.

Same issue here, users can still erase their devices. Will this issue be fixed in newer releases.?

Hey @Linkoln, thanks for reaching out to us!

This is a known product issue with Apple. However, Apple fixed the bug from iOS 15.1 onwards. Hence, you can update your software to the latest OS version to enforce the restriction again.

Hope this answers your query.

Thanks!
