We’ve expanded the Android kiosk exit settings API with additional supported keys, offering more flexibility in managing kiosk mode exits.
What’s new?
The API now supports the following enhancements:
- Kiosk manual exit – Allows users to manually exit kiosk mode.
- Kiosk password – Defines a password for exiting kiosk mode.
- Exit passcode tap count – Specifies the number of taps required to display the exit passcode prompt.
- Exit kiosk with app open – Determines whether users can manually exit kiosk mode while an app is running.
- Exit kiosk after reboot – Enables users to exit kiosk mode during the launch delay after a device reboot.
- Relaunch app – Specifies a time delay after which the kiosk app automatically relaunches if the device exits kiosk mode after a reboot.
These enhancements provide IT admins with greater control over kiosk mode exit scenarios, improving the overall device management experience.
