Hi, is there a way to enforce users to download new apps over Wi-Fi only in iOS devices so that they don’t get download over mobile data?

I believe there’s an option for iOS devices under the Policies section to restrict mobile data for applications.

I did check that option but I was not able to restrict mobile data for the App Store. I couldn’t find it inside the list of applications.

Thank you for reaching out to us!
We can enforce the download of new applications over Wi-Fi only by restricting mobile data for the App Store. Unfortunately, we do not have this option as Apple does not allow UEMs to restrict mobile data for System apps in iOS devices. This can be done from the device end but it is not possible to perform this restriction via a UEM. Apple allows mobile data to be restricted only for enterprise apps, store apps and VPP apps via a UEM.
