Disable secure token?Solved

Hey,

I need to remove the Secure Token for a user as part of a testing requirement, but the scripts and methods I found online didn’t work. I also came across conflicting information—some say it’s not possible to disable it. Is there a reliable way to actually remove or disable Secure Token?

Have you tried making a fresh new user? Brand-new accounts usually don’t have secure token enabled.

I tried that, but as soon as I logged into the user, it was automatically granted Secure Token.

It’s been a while, but I used this command to disable it, and it worked fine for me:

Let me know if it works for you!

Yes, yes! I checked the status after running the command, and it now shows that Secure Token is disabled.

Hey there,

I tried using the same command, but I’m getting a massive error message when I run it. Any idea what might be going wrong?

I mean, this should work, but let me confirm something first—you can’t manually remove secure token from the only or last user on the device. You need at least one other user with secure token enabled to revoke it from another account.

Ohh, I didn’t know that! I tried again after creating a test account, and the command worked. Thanks for pointing that out!
