Difference between Profile and Device Owner.Solved

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
The corporate-owned devices are provisioned as Device Owner. It ensures that the organization has full control over the device. The organization ‘owns the device’ and can provide more features to make the confidential data in the device more secure and block any unauthorized access. The device owner supports all the Profile-Owner supported features as well as additional features. Click here to know more about the Device Owner enrollment.
In the case of personal devices, the Android Enterprise demarcates the personal and corporate space in the device. The organization has complete control over the Work Profile but zero power over the Personal Profile. Here the organization ‘owns the work profile, not the device’. The Profile Owner supports fewer features when compared to the Device Owner. Click here to know more about the Profile Owner enrollment.

Okay, so if my devices are planning to get enrolled via G Suite, then will the enrolling methods for both device and profile owner still be the same?
Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
No, the enrollment method will be different. This will be based on whether the EMM policies are being enforced or not.
Depending on whether the option ‘Enforce EMM policies on Android devices’ is checked or not, devices can be enrolled in two ways. To find the option, please login to Google Admin Console and navigate to Security-> Manage EMM provider for android-> General Settings.
Check out the help doc on enrolling Android devices in Android Enterprise using G Suite for details on the enrollment methods.
Cheers!
