I could see the options to disenroll the device and another option to delete the device as well. May I know the difference between these two options?

Difference between Disenroll and Delete DeviceSolved

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can disenroll the devices in situations such as an employee is leaving the organization and his device needs to be removed from Hexnode MDM. Disenrolling a device provides you with an extra slot for a new device.
A pre-approved device can be deleted from the list by using the ‘Delete Device’ option in the Actions drop-down, if the user hasn’t already enrolled the device. If the device has been enrolled, you will have to dis-enroll the device for it to be removed from the Hexnode server.
Check out the help doc on disenrolling or deleting a device for more info.

What do you mean by a pre-approved device?
Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
Pre-approved devices are devices imported into Hexnode MDM, even before the enrollment is completed from the user end. You do not have to wait for the users to complete the enrollment to start with the management of these devices. You can group these devices and also associate policies to them. The policies will take effect on the devices once the enrollment gets completed.
The Pre-approved Enrollment of devices can be performed either by using DEP or by adding device serial numbers using a CSV file. You can also restrict the enrollment to pre-approved devices only.
Check out the help doc Pre-approved enrollment for more info.

Hello, it is said that pre-approved enrollment is possible via DEP. Could you please tell me how this is done?
Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
Yes, pre-approved enrollment via DEP is possible. Please enable the option ‘Add as Pre-approved’ while adding a DEP account to pre-approve the devices.
To add a DEP account:
- Navigate to Admin-> Apple Business/School Manager-> Apple DEP.
- Click Add DEP Account and configure the settings.
- Select the option Add as Pre-approved Device and click Save.
Please check out our help doc on pre-approved enrollment for more info.
Cheers!
