Hi,
How can we delete old users that have no devices associated to them?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please navigate to Manage tab-> Users. The list of users with the number of devices associated to them will be displayed. Select the users that have no device associated, click on the ‘Actions’ button at the top and choose the ‘Delete User(s)’ option. The selected users will now get deleted.

Can all kind of user be deleted? I think not. Not able to delete some users

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

No, not all categories of users can be deleted. A default user, users in Active Directory and users to whom DEP devices are assigned cannot be deleted.

Can the admin be alerted when a user is deleted? If any user is deleted by mistake, this will help to notice the mistake.

Yes, the admin can be notified via email when a user is deleted:

  • Navigate to Admin-> Notifications-> Notify the administrators on.
  • Check User deleted.
  • Click Save.
