We are super excited to announce that starting today, Hexnode policies will support Custom Geofences.
While traditional geofences also helped with applying conditional policies, custom geofence helps you create the perfect fence for your devices in the shape of your choice to exert precise control over your devices and policies.
And based on the requirements, you can create circular or polygonal fences. With circular geofences, you can simply define the focus and radius of the circle, while with polygonal geofences, you can define the number of edges as well as the precise location of each of these nodes.
Just like Geofences, you can create Custom Geofences from Admin > Geofencing > Create Fence. You can also create fences during a dynamic group creation from Manage > Device Groups > New Dynamic Group > Create New Geofences.
