Create an internal app store using Hexnode MDMSolved

Hi Paul,

Yes, you can create an app store to use internally. Head to Admin -> App Settings.

1. You’ll need to add apps from the App Store as well as your own apps to the list of apps. To do this, click on + Add Apps, select an option from the list
   • Store Apps – if you want to add apps from Google Play or Apple’s App Store to your own app store.
   • Enterprise app – Upload and add your own apps to your app store.
2. Create an app catalog with all the apps you’ve added to the app list in the previous step.
   1. Click on App Catalogs tab and click on the + New tile.
   2. Name the app catalog. Click on + Add More to add apps from the app list.
   3. Save the catalog.
3. You have the custom app store now. Go to Policies tab, create a new one and add the catalog to the devices. Refer https://www.hexnode.com/mobile-device-management/help/apple-mdm-app-distribution/ (to the end of the article) for more information.

Is the settings changed internally? Any updates?

There are some changes in the portal due to recent updates.
To create an App Catalog, please follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to Apps-> App catalogs. Click on +New to create a new catalog.
2. Add a name and description for the catalog.
3. Click on Apps-> +Add Apps to add apps and on App Groups-> +Add App Groups to add app groups to the catalog.
4. Click on Save Catalog.

The created App Catalog can now be deployed to devices via a policy. Please follow the below steps for this:

• Navigate to Policies-> Android/iOS-> App Management-> App Catalog and click Configure.
• Click on +Add Catalogs and choose the catalog that you have just created. Click Done.
• Associate targets and save the policy.
