We are super psyched to announce that APN settings for Android will no longer be restricted to Samsung Knox. With the latest update, we’ll be extending APN support to Android enterprise Device Owner as well. And this configuration will be added as a new section under Networks.
So now, there will be two different APN policies, the existing APN policy renamed to APN (Knox), which works on Samsung Knox devices, and the new APN policy, APN (AE – DO), which will work on devices enrolled as an Android Enterprise Device Owner.
With the new APN (AE – DO), you can remotely configure and deploy APN settings on your Android Enterprise devices. The granular controls offered by the feature will allow you to create private and secure networks separate from public internet traffic, ensuring your devices stay connected and safe at all times.
To know more about the APN configurations, check out our help doc on APN for Android Enterprise. And if you have any queries or need our assistance, feel free to reach out to us at any time. You can email us at support@hexnode.com or ping us here at Hexnode Connect.
