Yep, totally! Hexnode supports deployment of both VPP apps and Store apps. You just need to integrate your Apple Business Manager (ABM) account with Hexnode to sync your VPP license. Once that’s done, you can push either kind of app through the portal.

With VPP, especially when the device is supervised, you get silent installation—meaning no Apple ID sign in is required, and the user doesn’t get prompted to install the app. It’s ideal for corporate-owned devices where you want full control.

That sounds great. How about the app updates though?

If the app is deployed as a required app via policy, updates will roll out automatically. So, you don’t really have to worry, devices will stay up to date on their own. Hey folks, quick question. Is there a way to revoke app licenses from specific devices or in bulk if needed?

On your Hexnode console, head over to the Apps tab and filter by License Type as VPP. You will see a list of all your VPP apps, along with the number of licenses purchased and currently in use. To revoke a license from a specific device, just select the device and click Revoke License.
