We have a few Apple TVs set up on our production line to display instructions for the line workers. Our enterprise application plays these instructions line by line, repeating for a set period of time. Now, we have a new requirement: we need our enterprise application to launch automatically on startup. Is there a way to set up a startup application on Apple TVs?

Hey man, I think you can try setting your application in single app kiosk mode for Apple TVs using Hexnode. Check out the following documentation for more details:
I guess this way, whenever you try to turn on the devices, you will have the app in kiosk mode, so the application automatically pops up every time.

Thanks for the suggestion, it was great. But we don’t want the TVs to be locked to just one application. Sometimes, our production line inspectors have video conferences with workers from different sectors, and these TVs are used for communication during those times. Since this happens quite frequently, we also need the TVs to be able to access our video conference app.
Our main requirement is to set up a Start Application on Apple TVs so that our enterprise app launches automatically on startup, without locking the device into a single app like Kiosk Mode would. I don’t think Kiosk Mode will meet our needs. Is there any other way to achieve this?
If that’s the case, I don’t think kiosk mode will be the right solution for you buddy. Also, as far as I know, there isn’t an option to set up a startup application on Apple TVs directly.
I found a script document for macOS (not sure how it will help in this case),

But there’s nothing available for Apple TV yet. We’ll keep an eye on it in case Apple comes up with a solution in the future.
