Battery Health – iOSSolved

Hi team,

We are using secondhand iPhones for Point of Sale devices. It would be most helpful if we could pull the battery health (how much of the max capacity has been drained) remotely. So we can identify when devices fall below a certain threshold and book them in for servicing.

Is there a way to extract that via a report or can we get that added to the dashboard?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I’m a novice here so working my way around the system at the moment. Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

PD

Hello @paddy-davies ,

Thank you for your patience. We understand your requirement to retrieve the Battery Health status of your Apple devices. With the latest update of Hexnode UEM, we have incorporated Declarative Device Management for Apple devices. As part of this update, a new field, Battery Health, has been added under the Hardware Info tile on the Device Summary page. This field displays the overall status of the device’s battery life.

Battery Health status retrieved by Hexnode UEM console for macOS devices

This field is available only on devices running macOS 14.4 or later and iOS 17.0 or later with Declarative Device Management activated.

Hope this helps! Feel free to share your valuable feedback. If you have any further queries or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to Hexnode Connect.

Best regards,
George
