Since we’ve launched PKG installation for Mac, we’ve been receiving too many requests on DMG installation. And finally, we are here with the most requested feature – Enterprise app installation using DMG files.
All you need to do is upload the DMG file of your in-house application to Hexnode’s App Inventory and push them to your Mac devices remotely or via automated rollout through policy.
Here’s how you can do this.
- Upload the DMG file by navigating to Apps > +Add Apps > Enterprise Apps.
- Install the application to your Mac devices via Install Application action or by setting them as Mandatory Apps.
For the app installation to be successful, ensure that the Hexnode Agent app is installed on the devices.
