Need pro help please. Can’t seem to deploy apps to some work phones.

Enrollment to hexnode in device owner mode.

Apps deployed in mandatory app policy. No sign of installation in device end.

Any suggestions welcome.

I guess you could troubleshoot the issue if you check error code/message in action history

Unfortunately, found no error code or message. It ain’t even showing failed status. Still showing as initiated. Been like that for some time now.

Hey there, @Eduardo! Since the app installation is still in ‘Initiated’ status, this could be a network, Play Store, or device-specific issue.

Check if the issue gets solved by clearing the storage and cache data of Google Play Store and Google Play Services. Try force stopping these apps too.

Also, could you please specify if you have applied any policies like kiosk lockdown, blacklist whitelist, etc.?

The phones were just enrolled yesterday, Gabriel. We haven’t applied any Policies other than password. Also, don’t think there are any issues with play store.

These are brand new phones. Status shown for all devices is still initiated.

Thanks for your prompt response, Eduardo!

Since the app hasn’t been installed on any devices, the most probable causes can be limited to two cases:

  1. Poor network connectivity – Ensure that the devices are connected to a proper internet network. You could try checking the stability of the internet connection on the devices.
  2. App availability – Check whether the deployed app is available in your region.

Please check and update if the issue gets resolved.

Seems the network that the phones were connected to was experiencing some outage or something. Couldn’t recognize the issue earlier as the phones didn’t show any error messages like “no internet connection” earlier. Connected to proper network now, app installation successful. Sorry for the trouble guys…
