In particular as it pertains to Android Enterprise.
Is there a reason this is omitted from the API? We have a particular use-case for this.

Thank you for sharing your requirements with us. We completely understand the appeal of an API for remotely launching your applications, and we are happy to say that the feature is already under consideration.
We are currently working on creating API calls for all actions within the Hexnode portal, including the Remote App Launch action. And since a comprehensive API update is in progress, we anticipate a bit more delay before the feature gets fully implemented. So please be patient as we work on this.
