We are planning to set up few android kiosks in our warehouse and need to completely lockdown these devices to only a required set of apps. The warehouse workers using these devices should not be able to change any device settings like wifi, mobile data, brightness..etc. We also need to disable the notification bar, home button and restrict powering off the device. Can you walk us through the different settings that should be applied?

Thanks for reaching out to us, @hyes. We can help.
The Lock task mode setting in Android kiosk lockdown policy will give you an immersive kiosk lockdown experience with more restrictive capabilities.
After setting up a multi-app kiosk with your required apps, navigate to Peripheral Settings under Android Kiosk Lockdown and check the option Lock task mode. It will disable major system UI features like System Info, Home button, Notifications, Recent app buttons, and Global actions, thus restricting the users from changing any device settings or powering off the device.
Note: This feature is only supported on devices enrolled in Android Enterprise as Device Owner with Android version 6.0 or later.
Hope this helps. Do reach out if you’ve further queries.
Cheers!

Awesome! This would work but ideally we want the users to view the device battery percentage and the wifi connection status. Is there any way to make those icons visible?
Very simple. You can enable the System Info option under the Lock task mode setting to display system information across the status bar of the device.
Cheers!
