On a specific project, I have 3 groups I deal with.

Corporate iPads

Canada

USA

All devices are a member of Corporate iPads.  None are duplicated between USA and Canada.

1) It would be nice if I could nest groups.

2) It would also be nice if I could

  • Open Manage
  • Open Device Groups
  • Select 2 groups
  • Click Actions, and down at the bottom, choose Add device to groups

Hello @livewot,

Thank you for your suggestions!

We’ve reviewed your request regarding nested groups and will discuss it further with our team.

For your second request, instead of adding devices through the Device Groups subtab, you can do the same from the Devices subtab. Here’s how:

    1. Navigate to Manage > Devices.
    2. Select the devices you wish to add to the groups.
    3. Click Actions, and from the dropdown, choose Add Device to Groups.
    4. Select the device groups you’d like to add the devices to and click OK.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out!

Best Regards,

I see I had talked about this issue before (just posted a second request).  This does work, but I would like to do it from within the device itself.

Also, there needs to be a way to cleanup the actions menu.  It takes to long to find things in the little scroll window.  Not exactly sure how, perhaps alphabetizing, or grouping under headers and nest the actions one more level, but it is difficult to find disenroll.
