Thanks for the reply.

You can add website shortcuts and files to Android devices in kiosk mode using Hexnode.

To create a shortcut for a website, you will have to create a web app in the Hexnode app inventory first:

  1. Navigate to Apps-> +Add Apps and choose Web Apps.
  2. Provide the name, URL, app icon and category of the web app.
  3. Click Add. Now the app will get added.

This app can then be added to the Multi/Single App kiosk policy and deployed to devices. Check out our help doc on Web Apps for more details.
You can also deploy both video and PDF files to Android devices in kiosk using Hexnode. For this the shortcut has to be first added to the Hexnode inventory:

  1. Navigate to Apps-> File Shortcuts and click Create File Shortcut.
  2. Provide the details. Choose the shortcut type based on whether the file to be added is video/audio.
  3. You can choose the file either from Hexnode repository or device storage.
  4. After filling in the details, click Create.

The shortcut can now be added to a Single/Multi app kiosk for deploying to the devices. Check out the help docs on adding Video and PDF shortcuts for more help.
