We’re excited to introduce the latest addition to iOS policies in Hexnode: Network Slicing. As the name suggests, this policy allows IT admins to configure network slicing for iOS devices.

But what exactly is network slicing? Simply put, it’s a technique that creates multiple virtual networks—known as slices—on a single physical infrastructure. With Hexnode’s new policy, IT admins can now assign customized 5G network slices, provided by the carrier, to managed iOS devices. It helps administrators create customizations to ensure that each app gets the necessary network resources to meet your organization’s requirements.

We anticipate you might have questions, which is why we’ve prepared a detailed help document to give you a clearer understanding of the feature and how to configure it. Please take a look, and don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any further clarifications.

Best regards,
