macOS device rename not applying properly

Hey guys, I’m trying to rename a few macOS devices using user details, but on some devices the rename just doesn’t go through. No proper error, it just doesn’t stick. Not sure what I’m missing here—any ideas?

Password change in created local user account

While creating a user account, we provide a password. Can the user change the password to that of their choice when they login for the first time? In Windows I can see the option “User must change password at next login” but not in Mac. How does it work in mac?

Policy to limit device assigned per user

Hello, It would be nice to have a policy to limit the number of registered devices for users. For example, I would only like to limit 1 macbook per user. This way the user is not able to register another device until we remove them as owner of their current device.
