How does Autopilot actually work during setup?
Hey people, we’re planning to use Windows Autopilot, but I’m not fully clear on what happens when the user first turns on the device. Does it install anything or is it just enrollment?

I recently migrated about a dozen devices from Rippling to Hexnode. Most of the headache came from the Rippling side, but now that everyone is completely in Hexnode we're experiencing issues there, too. The biggest issue is that one user's device in particular was rendered completely unusable. Screen flickering, apps crashing, and inability to control…
Hi, I need some help with Linux enrollment. We’ve got around 5 Ubuntu machines that need to be enrolled into Hexnode. Could someone guide us on the best approach?
Hi all, I’m running into an issue with Apple DEP in Hexnode. When I sync the ADE account, no devices appear, and new devices don’t trigger enrollment. Has anyone faced this before? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks.
Hi Team, We have accidentally removed our Android Enterprise setup from the Google Play Console. We now need to reconfigure the Android Enterprise integration with Hexnode to resume device enrollments. We currently have 267 devices enrolled and are concerned about losing management control or triggering a mass disenrollment 😬. Is there any way to recover the setup so…
I need to enroll a new MacBook for an employee, but my device limit (82) has already been reached. How can I proceed? Also, Is this limit per user or for the entire portal?
I’m trying to enroll my iPad via Apple Business Manager (ABM), but I keep getting this error: “The configuration from your iPad could not be downloaded. The configuration is not available.” Has anyone else faced this issue?
Hi everyone, I’m trying to enroll a Windows 11 device, but during enrollment it keeps rejecting the email and password. I’m sure the credentials are correct, but it just won’t go through. Has anyone seen this before?
Hey everyone, we’re currently rolling out Android Enterprise device owner enrollment using the 6-tap QR method, and we’ve run into a challenge when the deployment environment uses WPA2-Enterprise Wi-Fi. During enrollment, the device tries to connect to the corporate Wi-Fi network, but authentication fails because the Root CA certificate required for WPA2-Enterprise isn’t yet installed on the device. In the normal Android Wi-Fi setup UI,…
Hi folks, I accidentally enrolled a device with the wrong user. Can this be corrected, or do I need to delete and re‑enroll the device?
Our developers mainly use MacOS. However, there are a few that would like to run linux. We have certain policies in our organization that describe the requirements that need to be met inorder to use in this case operating systems. A big one is making sure that de disks are encrypted and the encryption key…
When deleting an item from a group, there is a check box that says "Remember". Make it remember my action between sessions. I know it is removed.Make it a setting that is toggleable inside my account
We're transitioning from one mdm software to hexnode, and running into an issue with our Network Certificates. If there was a way to specify enrollment type without having the scan the QR code to ensure that the devices are going to Android Enterprise mode so we can push the cert, that would be incredibly helpful.…
Hello, It would be nice to have a policy to limit the number of registered devices for users. For example, I would only like to limit 1 macbook per user. This way the user is not able to register another device until we remove them as owner of their current device.
Hey Team, Can an option to run a script be added while enrolling via DEP Configuration Profile like we have the option to create a user?
I have been a long-time user of Microsoft LAPS and would like to have similar functionality in Hexnode across different operating systems. Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) is a function that prevents using the same administrative passwords across different endpoints/devices. It regularly changes the passwords and enables management software to retrieve the correct password for…
