How to enable API
Hey team, I am trying to send an API request to pull some details, but it keeps coming back with 401 (invalid credentials) error. I do not see any “enable” option either. Is there something I need to turn on, or how do I fix this?

Hi everyone, I’m seeing some strange behaviour in Hexnode portal. Our enrolled devices count suddenly jumped from 673 to 735, but we haven't added any new device. When I checked closer, I noticed multiple entries showing the same serial numbers. It looks like there are several duplicate entries for the same devices. I know for a fact that these devices were manually factory reset/wiped, but they keep reappearing in the list. Is this a bug?
Hey everyone, I keep seeing the term "MSP" pop up whenever I look into IT solutions for my small logistics business. I know it stands for Managed Service Provider, but what does that actually mean in a practical sense? Is it just a fancy word for tech support, or is there more to it? I’m…
I want my Windows devices to lock automatically after some idle time, but I don’t want them to switch to screensaver or sleep mode. Can this be configured from the Hexnode portal?
Hi all, I’ve been hearing about self-healing workflows in device management. What does that actually mean, and how useful can it be?
Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to restrict access to the iTunes Store on iOS devices. We don’t want employees downloading apps outside of what’s approved. Does Hexnode have a way to block this?
Hi everyone, I wanted to check if Hexnode can provide reports showing application usage or the impact of Windows Defender on Windows devices. Is this possible?
Hi all, I’m hitting a wall with our managed macOS fleet. We use Hexnode to manage about 50 MacBook Pros. I’ve confirmed that AirDrop is enabled in the Advanced Restrictions section of our policy, but for some reason, these Macs cannot receive files. My users can send files from their managed Macs to unmanaged devices perfectly fine, but the managed Macs never show up as an available…
We’ve had a few employees leave the organization, and their devices are now being reassigned to new users. What’s the best way to change the device owner and assign these devices to the new users using Hexnode?
I just hit the APN Certificate setup page in Hexnode. Do I really need to configure this for testing, or can I skip it?
